Q: How is the dispenser connected to the phone?
A: Bluetooth must be switched on constantly on the phone, the dispenser is connected to the dispenser via a Bluetooth interface.
Q: How is the dispenser operated?
A: The dispenser is operated with an adapter with USB-C as the primary power source. The included batteries are ONLY used as a backup if the power runs out. The batteries are NOT rechargeable.
Q: What technical requirements must the cell phone meet?
A: Every phone must be a smartphone with an installed Android system (version 7.0 and higher), cell phones with iOS (Apple) are currently NOT YET supported.
Q: Does the cell phone with the installed app need a SIM card?
A: Yes, in order to be able to send notifications, the cell phone needs a SIM card including data transfer.
Q: I'm having problems with the Bluetooth connection, what could be the reason?
A: Please check that the WiFi function is turned off, the dispenser is connected to the charger, the phone is not in energy saving mode and the phone is within range of the dispenser.
Q: How can I completely reset the dispenser settings?
A: Press the Alarms and Clock buttons for 5 seconds to delete the settings.
Q: How can I download the app?
A: Search for "DoseControl" Bluetooth app with a GREEN icon in the Google Play Store. Download and install the app, then follow the app's instructions
Q: Which notifications can I set?
A: In the app you can set in which case the notification should be sent: taken and/or missed dose, low tablet supply or empty batteries.
Q: How does sending notifications work?
A: When the set case occurs, the app sends a notification as an email to any phone, notebook or PC (e.g. from a family member, caregiver, doctor, etc.)
